Hello! Thanks for taking the time to check out our site. I’m about to ask you to follow my page and check out my online shopping mall, so I thought maybe some sort of introduction might be in order. I figure I should probably at least tell you a little about myself, my chaos, and what on earth I’m doing here.
I’ve been a lot of things over the years, but I never thought “blogger” or “marketer” would be among my descriptors. I’ve done all sorts of things – from packing boxes in a warehouse, to restaurants, to parenting and taxes, to FAA Certification. Sales and Marketing have never been my thing. Currently? I am a full-time aerospace data analyst. Yes, my hair is purple. I’ve been married to my husband Mike for 22 years. He’s been sick since February of 2019, and endured TPIAT surgery in Oct. 2020. I’m also his full-time caregiver. We have 2 kids – one out of the house already and one in jr. high, 4 dogs, 6 cats, and a ball python. With all this going on, I’m kind of sick of working for OTHER people.
So… now I own several small businesses.
I still have my full-time J-O-B, but pandemic times highlighted the need for a better backup plan. Before I was recalled, I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to find another position working from home, and it’s become necessary. so we decided to make our own. None of it looks like very much just yet, but every business takes time to grow into a profitable venture. We take the little wins. Baby steps. Introductions, new visitor counts, social media views, follows, shares; and ever-so-slowly… the conversions, sales, subscriptions, and commissions. We celebrate all the little things that push us to do the bigger things, and we’re grateful to have the opportunity to do any of the things. Once we’ve done the things, we’ll have the opportunity to share what we’ve learned and lend our support to others starting out on their journey.
Besides all this work…
I LOVE music. Certainly, anything I can play. If I’m not in public, anything I can sing as well. I play 6 instruments, all woodwinds. In the chaos of a medical ordeal, my community bands were my sanity. They also gave me back a little bit of myself that I lost while doing all the adulting and the working and the birthing and the parenting and the collecting massive amounts of anxiety. When groups started meeting again, Mike and I were both worried about him staying at home while I was gone. A lot of scary things can happen in that 2 hours. I got extra lucky though – Mike also plays, and has joined both of those groups. If he’s only there for his safety and my sanity, I hope he at least has some fun while we’re there.
Intro to a new life
I may not get to spend all my time here, but I can very easily see the path to creating a new life for my family. We get to learn about and try new products before anyone else. We get to share our favorites with the entire world, and learn from someone with the receipts to back up everything he says. Since you’ll be stopping by from time-to-time to see what new things we’ve found and posted about, you’ll get to watch my companies grow. Maybe you’ll even decide to join me/us. Either way, slowly but surely, I’m working my way into building the beginning of our new future.
I can’t wait to share it with all of you!
