As a native to Hinton West Virginia, our newest featured artist, Juanita Chisholm couldn’t help but have her love of the outdoors and animals nurtured from an early age. She gained an early appreciation of the animal world, being constantly surrounded by the abundant wildlife and lush nature reserves. She learned how best to capture and express it in her art and has agreed to share it with the world.
As time passed for Juanita like it does for us all, it ended up leading her to the Greater Cleveland Area, and to where she now resides in Stark County. She continues to work on her art daily producing various forms upon request and as her inspiration dictates.

“How long have you been painting?” Is the question she is asked most often when out showing her works at various art shows throughout the region. “I can’t remember not painting, or at least wanting to…” is the answer she most often gives, in response to the inquisitive minds.

Juanita primarily focuses on Watercolors. However, she also works with other media as well, in the production of her various forms of art. In addition to when she is working on a commissioned piece.
